Welcome to ClipFlow.
ClipFlow is a lightweight, local-first clipboard manager designed to make copied text, links and image snippets easy to find and reuse.
Installation
- Download the latest DMG from the GitHub Releases page.
- Open the DMG and drag ClipFlow into Applications.
- Open ClipFlow from Applications.
ClipFlow is currently unsigned and not notarized. macOS may display a security warning when opening the app on another Mac.
First launch
ClipFlow begins monitoring copied text and links while the application is running. New clips appear at the top of the history.
Clipboard history
Text, links and supported images are added automatically. Text and link history is stored locally in SQLite and restored when ClipFlow reopens.
Search and filters
Use the search field to filter clips by their content. The sidebar can also filter text, links, images and pinned clips.
Pinning
Pin frequently used clips to keep them above regular history items. Pin changes are saved locally.
Images
Small copied images can appear as previews. Large images are currently ignored to protect performance during the beta.
Keyboard shortcuts
| Action | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Focus search | / |
| Copy selected clip | Enter |

Privacy and storage
